last week it was pretty clear here in Seattle and the moon looked beautiful! it was full but i decided the composition worked best if it wasn’t. inspiration from amber’s purple and pink trees and hoping the weather will warm up a bit!
so it has been a busy couple of months. back in September i accepted a job with Microsoft as a Designer/Artist working on creative prototyping for Xbox! i know, not a good enough excuse for ignoring the blog but i made a New Year’s resolution to post a couple a week. i am good for my resolutions:)
here is my first painting on wood, old concept but just wanted to get started! i was nervous since i never tried to paint with black outlines. i need some pointers with painting on wood and hope to apply them to my next painting.

After 6 months of looking on and off (ok, maybe a year) we finally adopted a puppy! He is a Yorkie/Cairn Terrier, aka Carkie. We are really happy with the little man and he has adjusted nicely!
we are on day 5 of 9 and please do not yell at me for being online! hey, i am a techy girl. here are some sketches i did yesterday.
but i think these guys would disagree. i am in pre-vacation mode and looking forward to painting and sketching on the beach soon! still rockin out to GH2 and looking forward to the Halo3 Beta!
